We are going South

Believing in change

Selling eBooks

The first thing you need to sell your E-book on the Web
is some space on a web server to store your E-book. Creating an online account is very and very inexpensive. You can look at our marketing packages at Traffexone to see which one might be right for you. I would not recommend a free hosting account, as they are typically driven by ads that may take away some of your customers.

The next thing you need to do is set up your own domain name. We have talked about this before and very criticial if you plan on a long term future on the internet.

For more info, or to sign up for your own account, click here:
Blue Host

I have been using the Clickbank service to accept credit
card payments on line for several years now, and they do
a great job.Great support, they are strict with their pay outs, and
much much cheaper than a merchant account.Clickbank is used by hundreds of small business owners, and has proven to be a perfect place to get to grips
with on line selling.

Here’s a FREE E-book, that will show you step by step
how to set up your own credit card processing service.

It’s called: “Working with ClickBank”, and it provides
foolproof step-by-step instructions on how to set up
everything you need to work with ClickBank.

(I’ve seen this E-book being sold on line for $25 and
more, but through this link you can get it for free.)

Once you have downloaded it, you can sell it if you like
for appr 9-10$, or give it away to others for FREE, it’s
all up to you.

  • Obama alert

I just read that Obama raised 32 million dollars in the last three month and at the same time Mccain has had to reduce staff because of financing. I dont know about you, but I believe this year the only question to ask is which Democrat will win. Bush has left such a poor legacy for the republicans that they really do not have much of a chance. This country wants change so bad that only the Democrats had a platform that promotes change. I love some of the small time Republican candidates, but they simply do not have the money for name power to win. Its all sickening anyway if you think about it. The campaign has started so early this time around which means the candidates will blow through their money quickly yet consequently I believe they will only get voter burnout instead.

So when I read about Obama and Mccain, I have to yawn. It just does not matter right now. Politics is all about what is blowing in the wind at a particular time. When I hear the candidates give their policy today, I know 12 months from now we will be on to other things.

  • All Star MVP

Well, we hate to say we told you so, BUT, Ichiro is the finest player in all of the Major League. An inside the park home run which alluded none other that Ken Griffey JR himself is so ironic on one sie and landmark in other. One hero of the Mariners forced to tip his hat to the new hero of Seattle; Ichiro!

Obviously, it will now be up to the Japanese ownership to put up the big bucks to keep Ichiro which is has to be a done deal in their mind (no news in the paper yet) Now, do we try to draw back Jr to play DH and take this team to the next level? I say yes. Griffey’s menacing hip issue will decrease by not playing the field everyday and he can get the applause and the love he has missed over 8 years in Cincy.

  • Payday Loan

I saw in the paper today that Oregon will begin to crackdown on the payday loan industry and I for one am happy about it. Legalized loan sharking, as I call it, is such a fraud to the poor and uneducated. However, even the educated I bet can get consumed by luring idea of getting paid now instead in two weeks when you pay check comes in. Cant you wait. Anyway, its sad to think we need to develop laws to keep payday loan interest rates down so as not to harm people too bad just after we developed laws to make such loans legal. Wow is that ironic!

Look up down the major streets of your town and you will see the store fronts of these lenders. Now watch the comes coming in and look at the people. It saddens me to see a parent walk in while the other parent stays in the car with the kids. Do they know the spiral downward?

  • Baseball ruminations

I am very sad to see Mariners Manager Hardgrove move on. He had over 1800 wins and now he resigns. He looks very sad and depressed in my opinion. I hope he gets the help he needs. He says he does not have that drive anymore? After he brought a last place team to just 4 games behind LAA and in the thick of the wild card race? He has hit a funk and we wish him all the best.

OK, it looks like Bonderman is now in the hands of the voters for the All star game. I voted and voted and I do not believe their is a limit. Or is there? I just kept going. I am sorry to report that our family does not know the NL very well. Who would you recommend after voting for Bonderman?

Way to Go ICHIRO. What a fine pick and what signature guy for Seattle. Griffey is going as well and now is the time for Seattle to bring him back for the rest of the season. Could you imagine Griffey as the DH!

  • All Star Game

Well Fox Sports today began to give us the results of the All Star Balloting. Our Family loves Ichiro and it appears he will be on the train to San Francisco. What I cant understand is that our family was able to vote a whopping 25 times. Is this policy in place because of fraud I guess. It seems silly, why not one vote per email address? Then again, why not more leverage to the managers to control who they want. This is the kind of chatter I hear around the house these days and I guess if it were up to me, I would give as much power to fans as possible. With all these scandals I hear about, the fans should have control to keep out or allow in the players who break the rules to the All Star game. And that brings me back to Ichiro. Just look at him! Does he use human growth hormone. I think not. Whenever he is up to bat, I tell my children so they can see what hard work and practice practice practice is all about.

Good Luck at the All Star Game Ichiro!!!!!!!!

  • Somossur.org Blog

This is a His and Hers blog, so be prepared to read a wide range of rambles…

    First from Her…

As a homeschool mom Spring brings on a whole new set of challenges, how to stay motivated?! And I am not referring to the kiddos! The workbooks are only half used, but how can we keep going when the sunshine is so nice? The best solution: shake things up a bit…her are 10 quick shakers:

    1. Add Monday-Fundays (most Fridays are fundays for a lot of homeschoolers, switch this to Mondays)

    2. Set up an obstacle course to get energized

    3. Start a new family chapter book, let go of the one you have been trying to finish and has been dragging on

    4. Start watching your way through an old TV family series, we are just about ready to wrap up the first year of Little House on the Praire

    5. Start schooling outside

    6. Take on a unit study

    7. Start planning a vacation together as a family, could be a weekend road trip for the Summer

    8. Concentrate on an area of study, such as Journaling

    9. Switch up your family schedule

    10. Plan weekly field trips for the rest of the year

But most of all hug your little ones everyday and enjoy each other

  • Show me the Money?

I tried to watch the new game show starring William Shatner “Show me the Money” and it was awful. It appeared to be strip club meets Deal or no Deal. They have girls come out and dance around the stage, and then hang out in these areas on the stage with what looks like a stripper pole in the middle. Then the contestants, come up and answer a question, and then choose one of the ladies to reveal an amount of money they are holding. The contestant needs to get 6 questions right in order to collect the money, or get 6 wrong to loose it all. The pot of money can either grow or decrease depending on whether they get the question right, and the amount of money that is revealed. William Shatner, is better suited for the Star Trek and Priceline commercials that he is at hosting a game show.

It was like one of those weird shows where you know it is a waste of time, but you have to what train wreck is going to happen. I am sure it will stay on for a while, mainly because of the beautiful women they have dancing on stage. If only Mr. Shatner could say “Beam me up Scottie” and save us all the msiery.
